Referral and Affiliate Program Terms

Referral and affiliate program terms

Last updated: November 1, 2026

These referral and affiliate program terms (“Terms”) govern participation in referral or affiliate programs offered through protreon.com and related Protreon services (“Services”). The Services are operated by Protreon Inc. (“Protreon”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

A program is available only when expressly offered by Protreon. These Terms do not promise that a referral or affiliate program is currently available to every account or in every location.

These Terms supplement our Terms and Conditions, Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy, and the specific program offer. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Program types

A referral program may reward eligible users for introducing new users who complete a specified action. An affiliate program may pay approved participants commissions on qualifying purchases or other disclosed transactions.

The specific offer determines whether the benefit is cash, account credit, points, a discount, or another reward. These benefits are not interchangeable unless the offer expressly permits conversion.

Participation does not make you an employee, partner, agent, or legal representative of Protreon. You may not make commitments on our behalf.

Eligibility and enrollment

To participate, you must meet the requirements of the relevant offer, maintain an account in good standing where required, and comply with applicable law.

Cash commission recipients must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering the applicable agreement. Additional restrictions may apply based on location, payment provider availability, or verification requirements.

If enrollment or approval is required, participation begins only after approval. We may decline an application for legitimate eligibility, compliance, or payment-related reasons.

Provide accurate account, business, payment, and tax information. Do not enroll under another person’s identity or misrepresent your promotional methods.

Program offer and reward details

The program offer must explain the material conditions before you begin participating.

[BEFORE PUBLICATION: Insert or link the actual program rules, including eligible locations, qualifying actions, reward amounts or commission rates, calculation basis, attribution window, approval period, payout schedule, minimum threshold, reward limits, and any expiration conditions.]

If an affiliate commission is recurring, the offer must explain how long it continues, which transactions qualify, and what happens when the referred customer changes plans or cancels.

Do not assume that a reward is recurring, transferable, withdrawable, or unlimited unless the offer expressly states so.

Qualifying referrals

A referral qualifies only when it satisfies the conditions disclosed in the relevant offer. Depending on the program, these may include a new account registration, verified account, completed purchase, or paid subscription.

The offer must define what counts as a new user or customer and whether existing, previously registered, or returning accounts qualify.

Registering through a link does not necessarily earn a reward if the required action is not completed. Purchases that fail, are fraudulent, or are later refunded may not qualify.

We will not add undisclosed conditions after you have completed the requirements of an offer.

Tracking and attribution

Referral activity may be attributed through designated links, codes, or other disclosed methods. Use the identifier assigned to your account without altering tracking information.

[BEFORE PUBLICATION: Specify the attribution method, tracking window, first-click or last-click rule if applicable, treatment of competing referral codes, and whether manual corrections are supported.]

Browser restrictions, privacy choices, different devices, or technical problems can affect tracking. We do not bypass required consent or privacy controls to attribute a referral.

If you believe a qualifying referral was not recorded, contact us with relevant non-sensitive information. We will review available records under the disclosed attribution rules.

A technical tracking problem does not automatically resolve whether a reward was earned; the applicable offer and reliable evidence will guide the review.

Rewards and commissions

Rewards may appear as pending while the qualifying action, payment, eligibility, or fraud review is completed.

A pending amount is not necessarily approved or available for withdrawal. Once the disclosed requirements are satisfied, it becomes eligible according to the program’s rules.

For percentage-based commissions, the offer must identify the calculation basis and any exclusions, such as taxes, refunded amounts, or specified fees.

Account credits and points have only the uses described in the offer. They are not represented as bank deposits or cash unless expressly redeemable for cash.

Any expiration date, redemption limit, or restriction must be clearly disclosed and comply with applicable law. No expiration period is created merely by these general Terms.

Payment and redemption

Approved cash commissions are paid through supported methods after applicable verification and payout requirements are met.

[BEFORE PUBLICATION: Identify payout methods, supported currencies, payment frequency, minimum payout amount, and any disclosed fees. Explain how balances below the threshold are treated when participation ends.]

You are responsible for accurate payout instructions. Protreon is responsible for correctly transmitting the instructions accepted through its systems.

If a payout fails, we may request corrected information and review the transfer with the provider. Provider settlement and bank processing may affect arrival times.

We will not require you to make an undisclosed purchase or pay an unexpected release fee to receive an earned reward.

Promotional conduct and disclosures

Describe Protreon and the offer accurately. Do not promise benefits, earnings, discounts, or features that the applicable offer does not provide.

Clearly disclose that you may receive a reward or commission when that relationship could affect how an audience evaluates your recommendation.

Use understandable language near the recommendation or link, such as “I may earn a commission if you subscribe through this link” or “I receive a referral reward if you complete the qualifying purchase”.

Do not hide disclosures in a profile, unrelated page, or long list of hashtags. Use a disclosure appropriate to the format, including video or audio where relevant.

You may use approved promotional materials for the program’s intended purpose. Do not alter branding deceptively, imply official endorsement of your business, or register misleading domains or accounts.

Paid advertising using Protreon branding or referral links requires our prior written approval unless the program offer expressly allows it.

Prohibited activity

You must not:

  • Refer yourself or create accounts to generate rewards for your own activity.
  • Use fake identities, stolen information, automated registrations, or duplicate accounts.
  • Arrange sham purchases, circular payments, or coordinated activity intended to manipulate rewards.
  • Use spam, phishing, deceptive messages, or unauthorized contact lists.
  • Force redirects, insert tracking without a genuine referral, or replace another participant’s identifier deceptively.
  • Offer unauthorized incentives or misrepresent the terms of a promotion.
  • Impersonate Protreon staff or claim authority to provide official support.
  • Use prohibited content, unlawful advertising, or misleading endorsements to obtain referrals.
  • Evade account restrictions or knowingly assist others in doing so.

Any additional restrictions, such as household limits or limits on incentivized traffic, must be disclosed in the applicable offer.

Privacy and referral information

Share links or codes through lawful, appropriate channels. Do not submit someone else’s contact information unless the program supports that method and you have a lawful basis to provide it.

A referral relationship does not authorize access to another person’s private account, payment information, or activity.

We may display limited referral status or transaction information needed to administer the program, as explained in our Privacy Policy and program disclosures.

If you independently collect information through your promotional activities, you are responsible for applicable privacy notices, security measures, and permissions.

Refunds, reversals, and adjustments

Rewards associated with refunded, reversed, fraudulent, or otherwise nonqualifying transactions may be canceled or adjusted according to the disclosed program rules.

If an adjustment affects an amount already paid, we may offset it against future rewards where authorized and lawful. Any debit to an external payment account requires appropriate authorization.

We will explain material adjustments sufficiently to identify their basis, subject to privacy, security, and legal restrictions.

We will not cancel unrelated, legitimately earned rewards merely because another transaction is disputed.

Reviews and disputes

We may review activity for eligibility, tracking accuracy, or suspected abuse. Any temporary hold must relate to a legitimate concern and remain proportionate.

Where lawful, we will explain the issue and provide an opportunity to supply relevant information. We will review the hold when the circumstances change.

To dispute a reward calculation, attribution decision, or restriction, contact us with your account details, the relevant referral or transaction reference, and an explanation.

Do not send passwords or unnecessary personal information about the referred person. Report concerns promptly; this does not shorten any nonwaivable legal deadline.

Program changes and termination

We may modify, suspend, or end a program for legitimate business, compliance, or safety reasons. We will provide notice of material changes where required or promised.

Changes apply prospectively and do not retroactively remove rewards already earned under the applicable offer. A pending reward remains subject to the conditions disclosed when the relevant referral occurred.

We may suspend or terminate participation for material violations. Legitimately earned rewards remain payable subject to authorized adjustments and lawful restrictions.

When participation ends, stop using program materials in ways that suggest continued authorization. Final balances and unclaimed amounts will be handled under the program terms and applicable law.

Taxes

You are responsible for taxes arising from rewards or commissions, except where Protreon or a provider must collect, report, or withhold amounts by law.

We may request appropriate tax information before payment. A tax reporting threshold does not determine whether a reward is taxable.
