Protreon Inc. (“Protreon”, “we”, “us” or “our”) prohibits child exploitation and conduct that endangers young people. This policy (“Policy”) explains the standards for protecting children and teenagers on protreon.com and related Protreon services (“Services”).
This Policy applies to accounts, posts, messages, groups, pages, livestreams, advertisements, creator memberships, and other platform activity. Private or paid access does not exempt anyone from these requirements.
This Policy supplements our Terms and Conditions, Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy, and Nonconsensual Intimate Image Removal Policy.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required in your location, to register for Protreon. Children below the applicable minimum age may not create or operate accounts, including accounts created for them by another person.
If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, any required parental permission or supervision must be obtained. Parental permission does not override a minimum-age restriction.
Monetizing creators and payout recipients must meet the separate adult eligibility requirements in our Terms and Conditions.
If we learn that an account belongs to someone below the permitted age, we will restrict the account and address associated information according to applicable law.
Provide accurate age information when requested. Do not misrepresent your age or help someone bypass age restrictions.
Where necessary, we may request proportionate information to resolve an age or eligibility concern. Any verification process must limit collection, use appropriate safeguards, and comply with applicable law.
Do not submit identity documents through public posts or ordinary user messages. If documentation is necessary, we will explain the approved submission process.
[BEFORE PUBLICATION: Describe the actual age-screening and verification process, including any provider involved, the information collected, and its retention. Ensure registration and eligibility controls enforce the stated minimum age.]
We strictly prohibit:
Claims that material is fictional, privately shared, or supplied by the minor do not excuse a violation of these rules.
Do not upload exploitation material to condemn it or raise awareness. Report its location without redistributing it.
Do not use the Services to develop a relationship with a minor for sexual exploitation, coercion, or another abusive purpose.
Prohibited conduct includes:
Adults managing groups, pages, or creator communities must maintain appropriate boundaries. Platform access, creator status, or parental consent does not authorize exploitative conduct.
Do not publish or solicit a young person’s private information in ways that expose them to harm. This includes home addresses, school schedules, precise location, account credentials, identity documents, and private contact information.
Teenagers should consider the audience before posting. Public material may be copied, indexed, or shared outside Protreon. Restricted audiences do not guarantee that recipients will keep material private.
Where applicable law requires additional protections for minors, we apply those requirements to the relevant processing and features.
[BEFORE PUBLICATION: Identify the teen protections actually implemented, including profile visibility defaults, messaging restrictions, location controls, recommendation settings, and reporting or blocking tools. Do not advertise protections that have not been implemented.]
Do not target young people with bullying, threats, dangerous challenges, or content encouraging serious harm. Supportive and age-appropriate discussion of difficult experiences is permitted under our Community Guidelines.
Group administrators and creators must not use community rules to discourage safety reports, conceal exploitation, or retaliate against a young person who raises a concern.
Creators and users who publish lawful material featuring children must have the necessary permissions and comply with applicable privacy and child-protection laws. A child appearing in a photograph does not mean the child is permitted to operate an account.
Do not disclose private information about a child or use their image in a misleading, humiliating, exploitative, or sexualized context.
Monetizing creator accounts and payouts are limited to people and organizations meeting the adult eligibility and verification requirements in our applicable terms.
A purchase must be authorized by someone legally entitled to make it and use the selected payment method. Do not pressure a minor to use another person’s payment details or conceal purchases from the payment account holder.
Creators must not offer private sexual interactions, exploitative personal access, or other prohibited benefits to minors. Tips or paid memberships do not change these restrictions.
Reports of unauthorized purchases are reviewed under our payment policies and applicable law.
Advertisers and creators must not exploit a young person’s inexperience, misrepresent commercial offers, or pressure minors into unsafe purchases or disclosures.
Do not target minors with promotions for products, services, or activities that are unlawful or age-restricted for them.
Where applicable law restricts targeted advertising, sale or sharing of information, or sensitive-information processing involving minors, we comply with those restrictions and obtain required authorization or disable the processing.
[BEFORE PUBLICATION: Verify the platform’s advertising and data-sharing practices for minors. State the actual restrictions rather than relying solely on this general commitment.]
Anyone may report suspected child exploitation, grooming, an underage account, or another safety concern through:
Include the relevant username, content or message location, a description of the concern, and enough contact information for any necessary follow-up.
Do not download, forward, or attach suspected child sexual abuse material. Provide its location and relevant non-explicit details instead.
You do not need to confront the reported person, obtain their permission, or maintain an account to report a concern.
A child or teenager may report directly. We do not require parental involvement before accepting a safety report.
We prioritize reports involving exploitation or immediate safety risks. Depending on the circumstances, we may restrict contact, remove content, suspend monetization, or suspend or terminate accounts.
We report apparent violations to the appropriate authorities or reporting bodies, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, when legally required. We preserve relevant records where required by law.
Where an intimate-image removal request falls under a mandatory removal process, the applicable deadline applies. A general moderation review does not extend that deadline.
We may limit the information provided about an investigation to protect affected people, comply with law, or avoid compromising safety measures.
Retaliation against someone for a good-faith safety report is prohibited. Knowingly abusive reporting may also result in enforcement.
Account holders may request review of a restriction through our contact channels, subject to appropriate safety and legal limitations.
Parents and guardians can help young people understand audience settings, unwanted contact, payment permissions, and how to report concerns.
Encourage young people to seek help if someone requests intimate material, demands secrecy, makes threats, or offers money for inappropriate interactions.
Contact us if you believe a child is using an account below the permitted age or is experiencing exploitation on the Services.
A request from a parent or guardian does not automatically authorize disclosure of a teenager’s private communications. We assess authority, applicable law, privacy, and the young person’s safety before providing information.
Our Privacy Policy explains applicable access, correction, deletion, and other privacy rights. Requests concerning a child’s information may be submitted to contact@protreon.com.
Where necessary, we may proportionately verify the requester’s identity and authority. We do not require unnecessary sensitive information.
If we discover information collected from a child without legally required authorization, we take appropriate steps to delete it or otherwise comply with applicable law. Limited retention may be necessary for a legal reporting or preservation obligation.
Prohibiting accounts below the minimum age does not remove obligations arising from information we actually collect.
Suspected child sexual exploitation may also be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children through its CyberTipline.
If someone is threatening a young person, contact appropriate law enforcement where safe to do so. Reporting to Protreon does not replace emergency assistance or a report to authorities.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Our support channels are not an emergency response service.
We may update this Policy as safety practices, platform features, and legal requirements change. We will revise the date and provide additional notice where required.
Updates do not remove mandatory protections or excuse compliance with applicable reporting and removal obligations.
