Protreon is a place to connect, share ideas, build communities, and support creators. These community guidelines (“Guidelines”) explain the standards that apply when using protreon.com and related Protreon services.
These Guidelines apply to profiles, usernames, posts, comments, messages, groups, pages, livestreams, uploaded media, advertisements, creator memberships, and other activity on the platform. Paid or private access does not exempt content or conduct from these rules.
These Guidelines supplement our Terms and Conditions. We apply them with consideration for context, severity, safety, and applicable law.
Disagreement, criticism, and discussion are welcome. Threats, targeted abuse, and harassment are not.
You must not:
Criticism of ideas, institutions, public policies, or public conduct does not automatically violate these Guidelines. We consider the surrounding context and whether the activity targets people with abuse or threats.
Do not threaten violence, encourage attacks, recruit for violent activity, or provide operational assistance for harming people.
We prohibit content that promotes terrorism, violent extremist recruitment, human trafficking, or organized violent crime. News reporting, research, and condemnation may be permitted when they do not promote or facilitate these activities.
Do not publish instructions or organize activities intended to cause serious physical harm. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Protreon reports are not an emergency response service.
Child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, and any sexual exploitation of children are strictly prohibited.
This prohibition includes attempts to obtain sexual images from minors, coercion involving intimate material, and synthetic or manipulated depictions that sexualize children.
Do not use the Services to arrange exploitative contact with a minor or direct users to external locations containing child sexual abuse material.
We report apparent child sexual exploitation to the appropriate authorities or reporting bodies when legally required.
If you encounter suspected child sexual abuse material, report its location. Do not download it, redistribute it, or attach it to a support email.
Users must meet the minimum age requirements in our Terms and Conditions. Do not misrepresent your age or help another person evade age restrictions.
Protreon is a general-audience platform. Pornography, explicit sexual activity, sexual services, and content primarily intended for sexual gratification are prohibited. These restrictions also apply to paid memberships, private groups, messages, and livestreams.
We prohibit nonconsensual intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes, sexual coercion, trafficking, and threats to publish intimate material.
Consent to create an image does not necessarily mean consent to publish or redistribute it. A person’s public profile or occupation does not remove their right to consent.
Lawful, nonsexual content involving breastfeeding, medical education, health awareness, or art may be permitted when appropriate to its context and audience. These exceptions do not permit exploitation or gratuitously explicit content.
Respect other people’s privacy. Do not publish private information without authorization or another lawful basis, especially where disclosure could expose someone to harm.
Examples include:
Public-interest reporting and other lawful disclosures require consideration of context. Information being accessible elsewhere does not automatically make harmful republication acceptable.
Obtain any permissions required before recording, uploading, or sharing identifiable people. Do not collect information about other users through deception or unauthorized access.
You may use a permitted display name or pseudonym, but you must not impersonate another person, organization, or Protreon staff member.
Do not create misleading accounts, falsely claim qualifications, or suggest an affiliation, endorsement, or verification that does not exist.
Parody, commentary, and fan accounts must clearly communicate their nature and must not deceive users about who operates them.
Do not present manipulated or AI-generated media as authentic evidence when doing so is materially deceptive or harmful. Clearly identify synthetic content where needed to prevent that deception.
Scams, phishing, identity theft, fraudulent fundraising, and deceptive payment requests are prohibited.
You must not:
Accurately describe what a payment purchases. Calling a payment a tip, donation, or support payment does not excuse deception or remove obligations associated with promised benefits.
Do not disrupt the Services or manipulate engagement through deceptive or abusive practices.
Prohibited activity includes:
Legitimate scheduled publishing and authorized integrations are permitted when they comply with platform rules and applicable law.
Share material you own, have permission to use, or may lawfully use under an applicable exception.
Giving credit, adding a disclaimer, purchasing a copy, or finding content online does not automatically authorize republication.
Do not redistribute paid creator content without permission, remove rights-management information unlawfully, or bypass access restrictions.
Copyright exceptions, including fair use, depend on the circumstances and applicable law. Copyright and trademark complaints are handled through the procedures described in our Terms and Conditions and applicable intellectual property policy.
Creators must describe their memberships and paid content honestly. State material details about pricing, access, delivery schedules, and limitations before a supporter pays.
Do not advertise benefits you cannot reasonably provide, conceal material restrictions, or misleadingly change what an existing purchase includes.
If you cannot deliver a promised benefit, inform affected supporters and cooperate in providing the remedy required by the purchase terms or applicable law.
Protect supporter information. Do not sell supporter lists or use personal information for unrelated marketing without any required authorization.
Creator status, earnings, or subscriber numbers do not exempt an account from these Guidelines.
Do not use Protreon to sell, arrange, or promote illegal goods or services.
Prohibited transactions include trafficking, stolen goods, counterfeit products, illegal drugs, stolen credentials, and services intended to facilitate crime.
Do not arrange sales or transfers of firearms, ammunition, explosives, or weapon components through the Services. Lawful educational discussion is distinct from arranging a transaction.
Regulated promotions, including those involving gambling, alcohol, financial products, or medicines, require compliance with applicable law and any relevant Protreon advertising restrictions. A lawful product is not automatically eligible for promotion on Protreon.
Supportive discussion of difficult experiences is welcome. Do not encourage suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, or dangerous challenges, or provide instructions intended to facilitate serious harm.
Do not publish graphic violence primarily to shock, celebrate suffering, or intimidate someone. Documentary, educational, or public-interest material may require restricted visibility or may be removed depending on its severity and context.
Do not spread materially deceptive claims likely to cause serious physical harm, such as fabricated emergency instructions or dangerous treatment claims presented as established fact.
Discussion, personal experiences, satire, and good-faith debate are evaluated in context. Users must not falsely claim professional qualifications or misrepresent professional endorsements.
Advertisements and sponsored content must comply with these Guidelines and any additional advertising rules.
Clearly disclose paid partnerships, affiliate relationships, and other material connections where required. Do not disguise advertising as an independent recommendation.
Promotions must accurately explain eligibility, costs, restrictions, and material conditions. Advertisers must not use deceptive claims, fake testimonials, or misleading endorsements.
Purchasing advertising does not guarantee approval, unrestricted distribution, or particular business results.
Use available reporting controls or contact us through our contact page or at contact@protreon.com.
Include the relevant profile or content link, a description of the issue, and information that helps us assess the report. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information.
For nonconsensual intimate imagery, identify your request as “Intimate Image Removal” and follow the dedicated procedure described in our Terms and Conditions or applicable removal policy.
Do not submit knowingly false reports, organize abusive reporting campaigns, or retaliate against someone for reporting a concern in good faith.
Depending on the circumstances, we may:
We consider the severity of the conduct, its context, potential harm, and relevant history. Serious violations may lead to immediate action without a prior warning.
Where appropriate and legally required, we provide reasons for restrictions and explain appeal options. We may limit the information provided where disclosure would compromise safety, security, privacy, or a legal obligation.
To appeal, use the available appeal controls or contact us with the decision details and an explanation of why you believe it was incorrect.
Enforcement does not automatically eliminate lawful refund rights or legitimately earned creator payout entitlements. Those matters are governed by applicable purchase terms, payout terms, and law.
We may update these Guidelines as the Services evolve or new safety concerns arise. We will update the date and provide additional notice when appropriate or required by law.
Changes will be applied consistently with our Terms and Conditions and applicable legal obligations.
