This creator and monetization policy (“Policy”) explains the requirements for offering paid content, memberships, and other creator benefits through protreon.com and related Protreon services (“Services”). The Services are operated by Protreon Inc. (“Protreon”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
This Policy supplements our Terms and Conditions, Community Guidelines, and applicable payment, payout, and refund terms. It applies to creators and anyone managing monetized content or memberships on their behalf.
Nothing in this Policy limits consumer rights or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To enroll as a monetizing creator, you must:
If you represent an organization, you must have authority to manage its creator account and receive funds on its behalf.
Eligibility does not guarantee approval, continued access to every feature, or any particular earnings.
We or our providers may require identity, business, banking, or tax information before enabling monetization or releasing payouts. Additional verification may be required when account details change or a legitimate compliance concern arises.
A public display name may differ from your legal name where permitted, but verification and financial information must be accurate.
Submit sensitive documents only through the designated secure process. Do not send passwords, full payment card numbers, or unnecessary identity documents through ordinary messages.
You must not use another person’s identity, misrepresent ownership of a business, or provide false payout information.
Depending on availability, creators may offer recurring memberships, exclusive posts, videos, livestreams, downloadable materials, or other approved digital benefits. Optional support payments or tips may also be available.
Use only monetization features enabled for your account. Do not present an unavailable feature as supported by Protreon or imply that Protreon guarantees your offer.
A creator relationship does not make you an employee, partner, or agent of Protreon. Any specific payment collection arrangement must be established in the applicable transaction or payout terms.
Before accepting payment, clearly describe:
Do not guarantee a publishing schedule or benefit unless you can reasonably fulfill it. If support is voluntary and does not purchase specific benefits, explain that clearly before payment.
Descriptions, preview images, testimonials, and performance claims must be accurate. Do not suggest that a supporter is purchasing ownership, an investment interest, or guaranteed financial returns.
If you materially change a membership, communicate the change before it affects supporters. Changes must respect existing paid commitments and any applicable cancellation, consent, or refund rights.
You retain ownership of your original content, subject to the operational permissions granted in our Terms and Conditions.
You are responsible for obtaining rights covering all components of your content, including music, photographs, video clips, performances, artwork, and contributions from others. Permission for a free post does not necessarily include permission for paid distribution.
Obtain any legally required permissions from identifiable people appearing in your content. Do not publish confidential material or private communications without authorization or another lawful basis.
AI-generated or edited material must comply with the same rules. Do not use synthetic media to impersonate people, fabricate endorsements, or create prohibited intimate content.
Supporters receive access rights described in the offer, not ownership of your intellectual property. Protreon cannot guarantee that paid content will never be copied or redistributed without permission.
You must not monetize content, benefits, or activities involving:
These restrictions apply to membership descriptions, previews, paid content, messages, and benefits delivered outside Protreon when offered as part of a Protreon transaction.
Moving a prohibited benefit to an external website does not make it eligible for monetization through Protreon.
Treat supporters respectfully. Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against, or retaliate against someone for canceling a membership, submitting a good-faith complaint, or exercising a legal right.
Use supporter information only for disclosed, lawful purposes connected to the relationship. Access to a supporter’s email address or profile does not automatically authorize unrelated marketing.
Do not sell supporter lists, disclose private membership activity without permission, or share financial information with unauthorized people.
If you independently collect information or operate an external community, provide an appropriate privacy notice and any required choices. Protect information you export or receive from Protreon.
Do not request passwords, payment security codes, or unnecessary identity documents from supporters.
Prices and recurring billing conditions must be disclosed before purchase. Supporters must provide the authorization required for recurring charges.
Do not impose undisclosed charges or advertise a membership as free when payment is required to obtain the described benefit.
Trial offers and introductory prices must clearly explain their duration, conversion conditions, and subsequent charges.
Price changes must follow the platform’s supported process and applicable notice and consent requirements. Do not retroactively increase the price of a completed purchase.
Supporters may cancel automatic renewal through the applicable cancellation process. Do not obstruct cancellation, misrepresent its effect, or require an additional payment merely to stop future renewals.
Creator earnings are subject to the fees, processing charges, taxes, refunds, payment reversals, and other adjustments disclosed in the applicable payment and payout terms.
Review the fee structure and payout conditions before enabling monetization. An amount shown as pending is not necessarily available for immediate withdrawal.
Payout availability may depend on completed verification, payment settlement, supported banking arrangements, and legitimate fraud or compliance reviews.
Creators are responsible for their own tax obligations except where Protreon or a provider is legally required to collect, report, or withhold amounts.
Do not describe support payments as tax-deductible charitable donations unless the claim is accurate and legally supported.
Specific payout schedules, minimum thresholds, fees, and reserve conditions are governed by the applicable Creator Payout Policy and onboarding disclosures.
Our No Refund Policy applies subject to applicable law, express purchase promises, and any additional refund commitment you make before purchase.
A no-refund statement does not excuse failure to deliver promised benefits, unauthorized billing, material misrepresentations, or defective services where a remedy is required.
Cooperate with reasonable requests to investigate disputes and provide relevant delivery records. Do not fabricate evidence or pressure supporters to surrender lawful payment dispute rights.
Refunds and chargebacks may reduce earnings associated with the affected transaction under the applicable payout terms. Additional fees or recovery measures must be disclosed and legally permitted.
Clearly disclose sponsorships, affiliate arrangements, paid endorsements, and other material connections where required. Disclosures must be understandable and placed where the relevant audience will notice them.
Do not use fake testimonials, fabricated reviews, or unsupported claims about health, earnings, qualifications, or product performance.
Professional or regulated services may require licenses, additional disclosures, or platform approval. A disclaimer does not make an unlawful or misleading offer acceptable.
We may review creator accounts, offers, and content for compliance. Depending on the issue, we may request corrections, remove an offer, restrict monetization, review related transactions, or suspend or terminate an account.
Serious safety concerns, suspected fraud, or legal obligations may require immediate action. Where appropriate and legally required, we provide reasons and explain available review or appeal options.
Any payout hold or adjustment must follow the applicable payout terms and law. Disabling monetization does not automatically authorize permanent forfeiture of unrelated, legitimately earned funds.
To request review, contact us with the account details, relevant decision, and an explanation of why you believe it was incorrect. Do not create replacement accounts to evade restrictions.
If you stop offering a membership, notify affected supporters, stop future renewals through the supported process, and address benefits already purchased.
Do not continue accepting payments for benefits you no longer intend to provide. Prepaid, undelivered benefits must be handled according to the purchase terms and applicable law.
Closing a creator account does not eliminate outstanding lawful obligations concerning refunds, taxes, disputes, supporter privacy, or payout adjustments.
Keep appropriate business records and independent copies of your original content. Protreon is not a permanent archive or a guaranteed backup service.
We may update this Policy as features, legal obligations, or platform requirements change. We will revise the date and provide notice of material changes where required.
Changes will not retroactively remove rights associated with completed purchases or legitimately earned payouts. Any change requiring affirmative agreement will be presented through the appropriate process.
