Creator Payout Policy

Creator payout policy

Last updated: November 1, 2026

This creator payout policy (“Policy”) explains how creator earnings, fees, withdrawals, and payment adjustments are handled through protreon.com and related Protreon services (“Services”). The Services are operated by Protreon Inc. (“Protreon”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

This Policy supplements our Terms and Conditions, Creator and Monetization Policy, and applicable payment provider agreements. Nothing in this Policy limits rights or payment obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Payout eligibility

To receive creator payouts, you must:

  • Meet the creator eligibility requirements in our Terms and Conditions.
  • Complete the required payment provider onboarding.
  • Provide accurate identity, banking, business, and tax information where required.
  • Use a supported payout method in an eligible country.
  • Have earnings available for payout after applicable settlement periods and adjustments.

Account registration or access to monetization features does not guarantee immediate payout eligibility. We will explain any outstanding onboarding requirements through the applicable process.

Identity and payout verification

Protreon or its payment providers may verify your identity, business ownership, eligibility, and payout account details. Additional information may be required to meet legal obligations, prevent fraud, or resolve inconsistent information.

Use only payout accounts that you own or are authorized to use. Your legal or business information must match the applicable verification requirements.

Keep your details current. Changes to ownership, country, banking information, or tax status may require additional verification and may temporarily affect payouts.

Submit sensitive information only through the designated secure process. We will not ask you to provide your account password or payment security codes to receive a payout.

Earnings and account balances

Your creator dashboard may display different balance statuses:

  • Gross earnings: Payments attributed to your creator activity before applicable deductions.
  • Pending earnings: Amounts awaiting settlement, verification, or completion of an applicable availability period.
  • Available earnings: Amounts eligible for payout after applicable deductions and restrictions.
  • Paid earnings: Amounts sent through the payout process.

Dashboard amounts may be adjusted to reflect refunds, disputes, failed payments, fees, taxes, or corrections. A pending transaction is not a guarantee that the payment will successfully settle.

A displayed balance is an accounting record of transactions. It is not represented as a bank deposit or an interest-bearing account. Any protections associated with funds held by a payment provider depend on that provider’s arrangements and applicable law.

Fees and deductions

The applicable fee structure must be disclosed before you enable monetization or agree to a paid feature.

[BEFORE PUBLICATION: Insert the actual platform fee, payment processing fees, payout fees, currency conversion charges, and any applicable dispute fees. Explain the calculation basis, including whether taxes are excluded and whether any fees are returned following a refund.]

Your net earnings generally equal settled creator payments minus applicable disclosed fees, refunds, reversals, taxes, withholding, and other authorized adjustments.

We will not apply undisclosed discretionary penalties or unrelated deductions to creator earnings. Any adjustment must have a contractual or legal basis.

Payout schedule and minimum amounts

Payouts follow the schedule and availability rules disclosed for your account and payment provider. Settlement, payout initiation, and receipt by your financial institution are separate stages.

[BEFORE PUBLICATION: Specify whether payouts are automatic or requested, the payout frequency, the earnings availability period, any first-payout waiting period, the minimum payout amount, and estimated processing times. Explain applicable time zones and business-day cutoffs.]

Weekends, bank holidays, verification reviews, and payment network processing may affect receipt dates. Estimated arrival times are not guarantees unless expressly stated.

If your available balance is below the disclosed minimum, it will ordinarily carry forward until the threshold is reached. Any different treatment on account closure must be disclosed and comply with applicable law.

Payout methods and currencies

Available payout methods depend on your location, account eligibility, and the payment providers supported by Protreon.

[BEFORE PUBLICATION: Identify the payout providers, supported methods, eligible countries, and payout currencies, or link to a maintained page containing those details.]

You are responsible for providing accurate payout instructions. We are responsible for correctly transmitting the instructions accepted through our systems.

Your payment provider or financial institution may impose separately disclosed charges or currency conversion rates. Review the applicable provider terms before selecting a method.

If a supported method becomes unavailable, we may require you to select another eligible method. We will communicate material changes affecting your ability to receive funds.

Payment holds and reserves

We or our payment providers may temporarily restrict payouts where reasonably necessary to:

  • Complete required identity, tax, or banking verification.
  • Investigate suspected fraud, unauthorized payments, or account compromise.
  • Address payment disputes, refunds, or material delivery complaints.
  • Comply with sanctions, legal orders, or other legal requirements.
  • Address a documented payment risk under disclosed provider or platform terms.

A hold or reserve must be proportionate to the relevant risk or obligation. Where lawful, we will explain the reason, affected amount, review process, and expected release conditions.

[BEFORE PUBLICATION: Describe any routine reserve arrangement, including its calculation, duration, review schedule, and release conditions. If no routine reserve applies, remove this instruction and do not imply that one exists.]

We will review holds as circumstances change. We will not retain funds indefinitely without an ongoing contractual or legal basis. Information may be withheld where disclosure is legally restricted or would compromise an investigation.

Refunds, chargebacks, and adjustments

A refund, chargeback, payment reversal, or failed settlement may reduce earnings associated with the affected transaction, including after a payout has been made.

Any related processing or dispute fee must be disclosed and permitted by the applicable agreement and law. We will not automatically charge you for losses caused solely by our own error.

Where an authorized adjustment creates a negative balance, we may offset it against future earnings under the applicable payout agreement. Any debit to an external account requires appropriate authorization and must comply with applicable law.

We will provide sufficient transaction information to explain an adjustment, subject to privacy, security, and legal restrictions. You may request review if you believe the adjustment is incorrect.

Creators must cooperate with reasonable requests for evidence concerning delivery of paid benefits. Do not fabricate records or pressure supporters to waive lawful payment dispute rights.

Failed or delayed payouts

Payouts may fail or be delayed because of incorrect account details, unsupported accounts, provider restrictions, bank rejection, verification requirements, or technical problems.

If a payout fails, the funds may remain pending or return to the relevant balance after the provider completes its reconciliation. Do not assume that a failed transfer is immediately available for another withdrawal.

We will assist in investigating a missing or incorrect payout and correcting errors attributable to our systems. Recovery of funds sent using incorrect instructions you supplied may depend on the receiving institution and cannot be guaranteed.

Any applicable retry or returned-payment fee must be disclosed before it is charged.

Taxes and reporting

You are responsible for determining and meeting your tax obligations concerning creator earnings, except for obligations assigned to Protreon or its providers by law.

We or our providers may request tax forms, report transactions, and withhold amounts where legally required. A reporting threshold does not determine whether income is taxable.

Taxes collected from supporters may be handled separately from creator earnings according to the transaction structure and applicable law.

Protreon does not provide individualized tax advice. Consult a qualified adviser about your circumstances.

Account restrictions and closure

Suspension, demonetization, or account closure does not automatically eliminate your entitlement to legitimately earned funds.

Before a final payout, we may complete necessary settlement, verification, refunds, dispute adjustments, and lawful holds. We will release the remaining amount according to the applicable agreement and law.

We will not permanently forfeit unrelated earnings solely because an account violated a platform rule. Funds connected to fraud, unlawful activity, or another valid legal restriction may require different treatment.

If we cannot deliver a final payout, we will take reasonable steps to contact you and request valid instructions. Unclaimed funds will be handled according to applicable unclaimed-property laws and other legal requirements.

Closing an account does not remove an outstanding, valid repayment obligation or your right to challenge an incorrect adjustment.

Payout errors and disputes

Contact contact@protreon.com if you believe an earnings calculation, deduction, or payout is incorrect.

Include:

  • Your creator username and account email address.
  • The relevant transaction or payout identifier.
  • The date, amount, and currency involved.
  • A description of the issue and supporting records.

Report issues promptly so records can be reviewed and payment providers contacted where necessary. This request does not shorten any statutory deadline or nonwaivable dispute right.

Do not send passwords, complete bank account credentials, or unnecessary identity documents. If secure documentation is needed, we will direct you to an appropriate submission method.

If you disagree with our decision, reply with the reasons and any additional evidence so we can review the matter. Legal and regulatory complaint rights remain available.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as payment features, providers, or legal requirements change. We will revise the date and provide advance notice of material changes where required.

Fee changes apply prospectively according to the notice provided and applicable law. They will not retroactively change the fee charged on an already completed transaction.

Changes requiring affirmative agreement or additional payment authorization will be presented through the appropriate process.
